Or part of society. How judgements, evil and horrible it is. I take responsibility and I just want to end my part in society. I thought i was all alone. Now I finally found someone who feels exactly the same as me. I defiantly prefer animals rather than humans. I really appreciate that Im not alone. A part of me fully resonate with all OP said.
To live in a world full of people who refuses change and never really welcome them in the first place sometimes feel insufferably confining and daunting. Another naive part of me on the other hand, says humanity is just way too young. Call me unrealistic, but that thought — or rather, illusion perhaps — is comforting to know before I die. Things will be very, very ugly before it can get any better.
I realize of course, that these are nothing more than empty words. Like you, I would like to see an end to our species. Be gone every man, woman, and child. I agree. Humanity is a nasty species intending on harming all other species including itself.
I suppose it is the price of having so-called higher consciousness rather than basic instinct. But the good thing about having higher consciousness is that each and every one of us are able to change our perspective and make for a better life.
It is hard when all we see is the negative around us. Perhaps turning off the news for a while will help you focus more on positive aspects of humanity and yourself. When will humans all just kill themselves instead of dragging out the inevitable destruction of earth and humanity?
I cannot agree anymore with your statement. I abhor society, humans everything. I used to care, but no point the Planet is done for whilst we live on, but caring less now bout that as the end will come for the race and Earth will hopefully get more deserving life when they Earth is starved all killed themselves in pointless religious wars! Why did humans do all this? Why didnt they just live in nature forever just like other animals did? Bc we always just want more!
Once we get some form of luxury then we try to get more and more. You must be logged in to post a comment. General Rants Suicidal Survivors. Why do I only come across them rarely while you say the that the whole society acts as such?
I don't think we've lost anything. Shallow people have existed from the very beginning. If anything, I'd say that they've decreased with the IT revolution.
I never said society as a whole acts as such, hence my remark about "some" of us learning how to converse and relate inter-personally, face-to-face. I agree that shallow people have been with us forever, my point was more that communication has fundamentally changed and personal interaction isn't as necessary these days.
I'm not de-personalized because I regularly spend time with friends and family in person as opposed to texting or online, if at all possible. You blame "some" for the attitude of society suggesting that it holds a significant influence which I just don't see.
I am trying to say that society has significantly influenced communication, with several other methods iPhones, Facebook, etc. All my remark meant is that it's sad when there are people who have 3, Facebook friends and yet may only speak face-to-face with a handful of people in a given day. Perhaps if more people truly got to know one another, the world may potentially be less shallow.
Tell me. Who are these creatures, how many of them are there, and what makes them shallow? Shallow loses a lot of its meaning when you boldly apply it to the whole population.
Let's stick to a relative definition. I have found that a lot of people come to the conclusion that others are relatively shallow compared to themselves, and I also find that claim to be false. Would you not agree? I suppose then that you suffer from some sort of mental disease or defect that alienates you from society. Otherwise, I don't see the basis for such a claim. Girl's Behavior. How many times have you heard someone say this?
If you take a look around this site, you'll find many people expressing those opinions on many different questions, articles, and even in the chat. I think you can see the problem with this. If everyone found everyone else to be shallow, then they themselves would also be shallow too. Another thing. People are the ones who make up society. If people hate society, then they hate themselves: the ones who create the society.
I have a different idea. I think that there really aren't that many shallow people in the world. I think it's easy to say that the majority of people are shallow or ignorant and that they can be blamed for how unfair society is.
Sure, shallow people exist. Sometimes they even team up and make life frustrating. But for every shallow person I've met, I've met 4 more people who weren't. Maybe it's me and the company I keep, but I think it's easy to miss out on people if you say they are shallow before you talk with them individually and give them a real chance to prove it.
They say that "birds of a feather, flock together. So in conclusion, before you complain or become disappointed with society and the people around you, make sure you don't unfairly judge them. Don't say all the guys you know only want sex if you don't know that. Don't say all the girls you know only like assholes if you don't know that either. Don't say the world is mean and selfish unless unless you agree that you are also mean and selfish.
Give them a chance. I agree. Everyone else thinks people are so shallow. Thankfully, I don't. Vote A. Everyone IS shallow, and so is Box. Vote B. I've found people to be interesting when I get to know them. Vote C. I feel like there are people out there who aren't shallow but I can't find them. Vote D. I don't get it.
